About Mrugesh Patel
I'm a Senior Network Security Engineer based in Calgary, Alberta, with over a decade of experience designing, deploying, and securing enterprise network infrastructure. My specialty is the boundary where networking meets security: Palo Alto firewalls, network segmentation, F5 and AVI load balancers, and the Python and Terraform automation that holds it all together.
Currently I'm at Camping World as Sr. Network Security Engineer, where I lead Palo Alto firewall design, NSX-T to AVI load balancer migrations, and cloud network architecture on Azure. Previously I worked at Mastercard on automated security assessments, and at Jones Lang LaSalle as both Cloud Network Security Engineer and Network Engineer — where I led an enterprise-wide Wi-Fi 6 migration and was awarded the CI&A Team Award as Cisco Meraki SME.
I hold an M.Sc. in Computer Science from Mississippi College and an M.Sc. from Ganpat University (India), plus CCNA and PCNSA (2025) certifications. I'm currently open to senior or lead roles in network security, cloud security, and firewall engineering.
